By Carol D’Amore • May 22, 2018 12:17:20The parents of five children in the Halifax area have been charged with three counts of failing to provide a suitable home for their two boys and their two daughters.RCMP officers and child protective services responded to the home in the early morning hours of Saturday May 21 after neighbours reported loud banging and crying coming from the home, according to a news release from the RCMP.
The two boys were aged between two and six years old, while the two girls were between two to five years old.
They had been placed in care after their parents reported them missing in September.
The RCMP said the boys were not in good health and were in serious need of special care.
The children were treated by health care professionals, and taken to a child welfare centre.RC MP’s say the children are still in foster careThe children have since been reunited with their parents.
